Satin Made from Pima Extra-Long Staple Cotton

Only the highest-quality Pima extra-long staple cotton is used for the satin fabric. Pima cotton is twice as strong as ordinary cotton. Its longer fibers are more resistant to pulling, tearing, and fraying, ensuring a longer lifespan for the product. This yarn is woven into the famous satin using the so-called "Swiss setting." Thanks to the combination of fine yarn, a special weave, and finishing processes, it acquires a unique, elegant sheen and, with 100g per m², is much softer and lighter than other satin bed linens.

Christian Fischbacher's satin bedding can be washed at 60°C in a regular wash cycle and can be ironed at medium heat.

Long-Staple Cotton Jacquard

The luxurious Jacquard collection from Christian Fischbacher, made of 100% cotton, stands out for its precise weaving technique and elegant, innovative designs in the finest color tones.

Jacquard fabrics are created on a Jacquard loom, named after its inventor, Joseph Marie Jacquard. The Frenchman conceived of a pattern loom capable of mechanically producing continuous patterns of any complexity. This “programmable” loom was invented around 1800, long before computers and programming in the traditional sense made their way into daily life.

Even today, as 200 years ago, fabulous fabrics with unique textures are created on the Jacquard loom. The intricate patterns seem to grow magically through the interplay of warp and weft satin. These designs are unique in that they’re woven into the fabric itself, not merely applied onto it. Depending on the angle of light, the sophisticated designs are sometimes more, sometimes less visible, captivating the viewer’s gaze. It’s a textile beauty that can be appreciated not only with the eye but also with the fingertips. This ancient technique, which appears so modern, enables not only special designs but also shimmering colors, as seen in the Jacquard Leaves bedding set.

Silk Bedding

Christian Fischbacher’s silk bedding is made from 100% mulberry silk in a renowned Italian fashion weaving mill, which otherwise specializes primarily in haute couture. Silk is elegant, precious, and exceptionally friendly to both hair and skin. Sleeping on silk means waking up with relaxed facial features and reduced hair breakage, thanks to silk’s smooth, soft, and light surface.

With a weight of only 76 to 80 grams per square meter, Christian Fischbacher's silk fabric is hardly noticeable on the skin.
